Mikaela is an MBA-qualified lawyer, who has spent many years in corporate settings providing insurance, risk, governance and regulatory compliance advice. Mikaela served as a company director on government boards & industry associations and also taught insurance law at Monash & Melbourne Universities.
Five years ago, she sought a different connection with work & community and moved into the not-for-profit sector. Mikaela served as a community health service board director, and then as an NFP CEO, first of Legacy Melbourne, and later Kidney Health Australia. Presently, she is the Deputy Chair of CERES.
Mikaela has now developed this exciting new community based project after recognising that skilled women engaged in meaningful employment are less vulnerable to the risks of homelessness and poverty in their later years.
Tracy has over twenty years’ experience working in partnership with clients to design and implement operational and system improvements.
Her expertise includes business processes, efficiency mapping and software solutions. Her particular interest is business development and relationship management.
